Binance's market share rises to 35.34%, Q2 crypto exchange total trading volume down 8% quarter-on-quarter

Odaily reported that a recent report released by TokenInsight shows that the total trading volume of cryptocurrency exchanges in the second quarter of 2026 fell by 8% quarter-on-quarter to $16.5 trillion. Spot trading volume rebounded from $3.3 trillion to $4.5 trillion, while derivatives trading volume dropped from $14.6 trillion to $12.0 trillion, with the derivatives share falling from 82% to 73%. In terms of overall market share, Binance increased from 32.77% to 35.34%, recording the largest quarterly gain.
