US core CPI MoM hits new high since May this year

Odaily News: The US seasonally adjusted core CPI MoM rate for August came in at 0.3%, the highest since May this year, above the market expectation of 0.2%, with the previous value at 0.2%. The US unadjusted core CPI YoY rate for August fell to 2.4%, declining for three consecutive months and hitting a new low since April 2021, in line with expectations, with the previous value at 2.5%.
