SK Hynix Responds Again: No Decision Yet on Sale of Stake in Chongqing Packaging Plant

Odaily News: SK Hynix has once again responded to reports that the company plans to sell part of its stake in its Chongqing packaging plant in China, with a transaction valuation of approximately 4 trillion KRW (about $2.9 billion). The company stated that it is currently reviewing multiple measures to enhance the competitiveness of its packaging business, but as of now, no specific matters have been finalized. This marks the second disclosure of progress on the matter by SK Hynix, following its initial announcement on August 10, roughly a month later. The company said that if any related matters are confirmed, it will make a separate announcement; if there is still no specific progress, it will disclose again within three months from the date of this announcement, with the expected next disclosure date set for December 8.
