Tokenized stock weekly trading volume approaches $3 billion, with Robinhood Chain, BNB Chain, and Solana holding the major share
Odaily News: Tokenized stock weekly trading volume hit a high of nearly $3 billion in August, with Robinhood Chain, BNB Chain, and Solana carrying most of the trading activity. The total value locked in on-chain tokenized stocks has surpassed $110 million, but only about 5% is deployed in on-chain financial applications.
Digital asset manager Grayscale stated that the tokenized stock market remains primarily trading-driven. On Solana's lending platform Kamino and Jupiter, related asset sizes have grown roughly tenfold compared to last year, with lending and collateral use cases still expanding.
BNB Chain's cumulative tokenized stock trading volume exceeded $5.2 billion by the end of June, with more than 700 tokenized stocks and ETFs available on the network. In the second quarter, Solana's tokenized asset trading volume reached $5.77 billion, of which tokenized stock trading volume stood at $4.8 billion, up about fourfold from the first quarter.
