巴西央行将部署加密货币威胁预警系统,涉及1.8亿美元攻击事件
The Central Bank of Brazil has developed a real-time cryptocurrency threat warning system and partnered with digital asset threat protection firm Hypernative to provide banks and domestic crypto exchanges with attack identification, response, and fund tracing support.
In July 2025, cybercriminals exploited a software vulnerability in financial software middleware company C&M to steal $180 million from the financial system, converting a portion of the funds into Bitcoin and USDT via exchanges. This incident accelerated the Central Bank of Brazil's development of the system.
Regina Pedroso, Executive Director of the Brazilian Tokenization Association (ABToken), stated that the system will begin integration within the next two weeks, with Foxbit and Mercado Bitcoin participating in the implementation. Relevant institutions have completed testing and issued some early warnings. Brazil will also impose a 24-hour preventive hold on individual cryptocurrency transfers exceeding $10,000 per transaction or cumulative daily limit. (Bitcoin.com News)
