Nvidia's Q2 revenue reaches $96.2 billion, expected to surpass $100 billion for the first time next quarter

Odaily News: Chip design company Nvidia announced its second-quarter results for fiscal year 2027, with revenue of $96.221 billion, more than doubling year-over-year, exceeding the company's guidance of $91 billion and market expectations of $92 billion by more than $4 billion. Operating profit reached $63.734 billion, more than doubling year-over-year.

Data center revenue reached $89 billion, up 18% year-over-year, accounting for 92.5% of total revenue. Of that, Hyperscale business revenue was $48.7 billion, and ACIE business revenue was $40.3 billion. Nvidia said Blackwell Ultra GB300 has begun shipping, and China-specific revenue such as H200 accounts for less than 1% of total revenue.

Nvidia expects third-quarter revenue for fiscal year 2027 to reach $108 billion, up approximately 12% quarter-over-quarter, with quarterly revenue surpassing $100 billion for the first time. CEO Jensen Huang said AI infrastructure construction is progressing at full speed, and the AI GPU system based on Vera Rubin has entered full production stage. (ZDNet)
