谷歌旗下Waymo宣布自研定制芯片

Theo Odaily Planet Daily, Waymo, a subsidiary of Google, has self-developed a custom chip designed to enhance the performance of its robotaxis and expand its chip supply sources from third-party companies like Nvidia to in-house development. This Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) chip has been put into mass production in Waymo's latest generation of robotaxis, improving vehicle response speed and navigation capabilities. Waymo stated that the chip delivers computing power exceeding 1000 TOPS and is manufactured using TSMC's 5-nanometer process.
