The article states that testnet participants will receive approximately 20% of the token supply. Hayes said that the current AI market lacks a unified compute pricing standard, and different models have different definitions and pricing for "tokens." He proposed building a decentralized compute network called Flop Network, with FLOP as the native token, representing a direct claim on compute power (FLOPs), enabling AI agents and humans to trade at a globally unified compute unit price. The FLOP token adopts a fair launch model, with the team self-funding and no presale.
