Odaily News: Bitcoin rebounded from a low of $62,653 during the day, breaking through $64,000, with an intraday high of $64,375, marking a daily increase of nearly 2% and pushing its market cap above $1.29 trillion at one point.
Coinglass data shows that over the past 24 hours, Bitcoin leveraged short position liquidations totaled $57.4 million, while long position liquidations amounted to $13.3 million. During the same period, total liquidations across the network approached $220 million, with shorts accounting for approximately $155 million.
Business intelligence software firm Strategy held 840,447 bitcoins as of August 16, with its holdings unchanged, while raising its U.S. dollar cash reserves to $4.8 billion.
