ECB Survey: Only 0.2% of Eurozone Businesses Accept Crypto Payments Online

Odaily News: A survey conducted by the European Central Bank (ECB) across 8,205 companies in the euro area reveals that only 0.2% of surveyed businesses accept cryptocurrencies or stablecoins for online payments, while the acceptance rate at physical point-of-sale terminals stands at 1%.



Among businesses with physical point-of-sale outlets, 92% accept cash payments and 88% accept card payments. Mobile payment acceptance has risen from 36% in 2024 to 68% in 2026. (Bitcoin.com News)
