He stated that his team had spent months trying to get Apple to remove a counterfeit DeFiLlama app, but multiple earlier complaints regarding trademark infringement and impersonation of the official app went unresolved.

Ultimately, the DeFiLlama team had to download and use the counterfeit app, then deposited a small amount of funds into it. As expected, the wallet assets were stolen. After confirming the app's malicious behavior, they submitted another report to Apple, and only then was the counterfeit app removed within a few days.
