AI security company Corma completes $60 million seed funding round, led by Sequoia Capital

2026-08-13 12:35

Odaily Planet Daily News: AI security startup Corma has announced the completion of a $60 million seed funding round, led by Sequoia Capital, with participation from Khosla Ventures and Coatue.

Currently, the code generation and software reasoning capabilities of general-purpose large model providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google can be directly converted into offensive cybersecurity capabilities. Corma is developing an AI security "digital workforce" system for enterprise security teams, in which AI agents can continuously learn within enterprise environments and cover multiple defensive scenarios including threat detection, response, and security operations. The new funds will be used to build a dedicated AI defense system for cybersecurity, giving defenders the same speed, complexity, and generalization capabilities as AI attackers. (FintechGlobal)
