Trump: A deal with Iran is possible, but trust in them is declining

Trump stated: "We are doing very well. We are trying to be friendly—as friendly as we can be in this situation—but you know, they are being hit hard. They have no navy, no air force, and no air defense. That doesn't mean they are completely incapable—they do have some capabilities, but they are minimal." He added: "The problem is simple: Iran will not have nuclear weapons, and they cannot have nuclear weapons. If they did, the Middle East would have been destroyed long ago." When asked about his expectations for the next four weeks, Trump told reporters that Washington would take "very tough" action against Iran. "At some point, they will say we really can't take it anymore." Additionally, Trump mentioned regarding the Iran issue that a deal can be reached, with Witkoff, Kushner, Vance, and Rubio all involved.
