The CEO of the Polygon Foundation, Sandeep Nailwal, posted on platform X that last week, one-third of the team paused their daily work to spend 3 days developing projects using AI. Motivated by a $15,000 prize pool, the team produced 13 projects, of which 6 have already gone live, and 1 is processing real transactions across 5 chains on the mainnet.

Nailwal stated that if the team does not engage in such internal activities, they will start to lag behind teams that are already taking action, especially in the payments sector, which will be defined over the next decade by teams that truly integrate AI into their daily work. He believes that having AI expertise is no longer an option, and he feels more optimistic about the team's achievements.
