韩国五大加密交易所上半年新增上币净增规模同比下降约74%
The net increase in new token listings across South Korea's five major crypto exchanges in the first half of the year dropped approximately 74% year-on-year.
Odaily Planet Daily News: New token listings on domestic South Korean crypto exchanges have significantly slowed in the first half of this year, while the number of delistings of low-liquidity and problematic tokens has increased.
According to statistics from EToday covering the five major exchanges—Upbit, Bithumb, Coinone, Korbit, and Gopax—the net increase in new trading pairs (after accounting for delistings) in the first half of this year was 49, down approximately 74% from 191 in the same period last year. During the same period, new trading pair listings fell by 44% year-on-year, while the number of delisted trading pairs surged by 258% year-on-year.
The report states that amid declining trading volumes and pressure on fee revenues, the competitive focus of South Korean exchanges is shifting from listing expansion to liquidity management, token screening, and preparing for institutionalized regulatory responses. (EToday)
