Apple Vision Pro project executive Paul Meade to leave and join OpenAI's hardware division

Odaily Planet Daily News: Apple executive Paul Meade, who was responsible for the Vision Pro and smart glasses projects, is leaving the company to join OpenAI's hardware division. Paul Meade joined Apple in 2010, initially working on the iPhone and iPad teams. In 2017, he moved to the visual products team and became the head of the Vision Pro hardware engineering team. Recently, Paul Meade has been primarily responsible for advancing the AI smart glasses project and leading the AR glasses development team. He will leave Apple next week and join OpenAI's hardware division to participate in AI device research and development. (Bloomberg)
