South Korea's KOSPI closed nearly 6% lower, as Japanese and South Korean stock markets collectively ended the week in decline

Odaily Planet Daily News: Japanese and South Korean stock markets closed on Friday. The Nikkei 225 index fell 3,005.46 points, down 4.15%, closing at 69,360.88 points. The South Korean KOSPI index dropped 519.1 points, down 5.81%, to 8,411.2 points, after plunging nearly 9% during intraday trading; SK Hynix closed over 8% lower, and Samsung Electronics fell more than 5%.
