US and Brent crude oil rose 1% during the day, while the US Dollar Index (DXY) dropped more than ten points in the short term.

According to Gate data, US and Brent crude oil rose 1% during the day, currently trading at $71.11/barrel and $74.14/barrel respectively. The US Dollar Index (DXY) fell more than ten points in the short term, reporting 101.38. Non-US currencies rose modestly in the short term.
