Crypto sector drops for three consecutive days, BTC briefly falls below $60,000

According to SoSoValue data, the cryptocurrency market has declined for three consecutive days, with the Meme sector dropping 13.75% in 24 hours. Among them, MemeCore (M) fell 67.51%, and Pump.fun (PUMP) dropped 10.90%; the NFT sector decreased by 9.99%, with Audiera (BEAT), which surged yesterday, falling 22.63%.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin (BTC) dropped 3.36%, briefly falling below $60,000 during the session; Ethereum (ETH) fell 3.35%, declining to around $1,600.

In other sectors, the CeFi sector fell 2.33% in 24 hours, with NEXO (NEXO) down 3.59%; the PayFi sector dropped 3.18%, with Dash (DASH) declining 7.82%; the Layer1 sector fell 3.07%, but Gram (GRAM) bucked the trend with a 1.46% gain; the Layer2 sector dropped 3.46%, yet Optimism (OP) rose 3.83%.

Additionally, the DeFi sector performed notably, rising 1.69%, with Hyperliquid (HYPE) up 2.04%, o1.exchange (O) surging 35.42%, and LAB (LAB) gaining 19.60%.

The crypto sector index, reflecting historical sector performance, shows the ssiSocialFi index up 1.09%, the ssiDeFi index up 0.25%, while the ssiMeme index fell 17.69%.
