Iranian Parliament Speaker: Iran-US Memorandum of Understanding Signing Indicates "American Defeat" (Jin Shi Data APP)

Odaily Planet Daily News Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, stated on the 24th that the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States indicates America's defeat, and achieving this memorandum is a result of Iran's resistance. Ghalibaf made these remarks while delivering a speech at the opening ceremony of the 20th session of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC), held on the same day in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.

He pointed out that the aggressors believed they could force the Iranian people to retreat and change the regional situation through military pressure, blockades, psychological warfare, and terrorist attacks. However, the Iranian people have proven that the era of attempting to impose one's will on independent nations through force has ended. Ghalibaf said: "This war has caused severe losses to our people, but it has also shown that, even under the most difficult circumstances, the resilience and will of the people can shatter all the schemes of the aggressors."
