Odaily Odaily reports that Jake Chervinsky, CEO of the Hyperliquid Policy Center, stated that the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) suing the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) is a major misjudgment and an unnecessary mistake. The CME, long considered a dominant player in the U.S. derivatives market, now appears in court actions as a monopolistic vested interest afraid of competition. Jake Chervinsky also cited the views of CFTC Chairman Mike Selig, saying that vested interests are always afraid of the future, but the public should not fear vested interests.
