Odaily reported that following the attack on KelpDAO, which resulted in losses of approximately $292 million, the industry's focus on the security of cross-chain infrastructure continues to intensify. Currently, about $4 billion in assets have completed or are in the process of migrating from LayerZero to Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP).
Among them, DeFi protocol Lombard has become the latest project to announce its migration. The protocol stated that it will phase out LayerZero and migrate over $1 billion in Bitcoin-backed assets to Chainlink CCIP.
Lombard stated that this adjustment stems from a comprehensive review of its internal security systems conducted after the attack in April. (CoinDesk)
