Expert: It is the U.S. government that is internally divided; Trump is somewhat in a dilemma.
Odaily Planet Daily News: As the war between the U.S. and Israel against Iran continues, the Trump administration is clearly not unified internally on how to proceed. Andrea Dressi, Assistant Professor of International Relations and Global Politics at the University of Rome, said: "We see the U.S. goals constantly shifting, strategies constantly changing, and targets constantly being adjusted. Although the Trump administration tries to 'show strength' through social media, internally within the government, we are seeing increasing divisions, growing disagreements, and multiple high-level officials from the Pentagon and the Department of Defense being fired. All of this reinforces the analysis that the U.S. and Israel launched this war based on 'a serious miscalculation of the potential consequences of this conflict or a lack of strategic thinking.' So we are now stuck in this deadlock, in a sense, as the Trump administration is seeking an exit path." (Jinshi Data)
