Coinbase and other crypto institutions co-sign letter to the U.S. Senate urging passage of the CLARITY Act
Cryptocurrency advocacy organizations Blockchain Association and CCI, together with over 120 industry institutions including Coinbase, Ripple, Kraken, and Circle, have co-signed a letter to the U.S. Senate Banking Committee, urging acceleration of the deliberation process for the CLARITY Act. The industry parties state that the U.S. needs to establish a unified regulatory framework for digital asset markets to clarify regulatory authority and strengthen investor protection, noting that relying solely on enforcement actions cannot create a long-term stable environment. The institutions warn that prolonged policy ambiguity will lead to an outflow of capital, talent, and technology, weakening America's strategic advantages, while also calling for the development of tailored federal unified regulatory rules for stablecoins, tokenized assets, and decentralized technologies.
