South Korean stocks accelerated their decline in the afternoon session, with SK Hynix leading the losses

Odaily News: According to Gate market data, the Korea KOSPI index fell 1.00% intraday. Heavyweight stock SK Hynix declined 2.36%, while Samsung Electronics dropped 1.8%. Affected by this, the Southern 2x Long Hynix ETF fell 5.75%, and the 2x Long Samsung ETF declined 4.51%. Earlier reports indicated that the latest data shows South Korea's semiconductor exports surged 209% year-on-year, reaching a record $46.65 billion in August, accounting for 47.5% of the country's total merchandise exports.
