Odaily reported that Apple (AAPL.O) has become the second company in history to reach a market capitalization of $5 trillion. On Tuesday, Apple's stock price once rose 1.8% to $342.89, pushing its market value past $5 trillion for the first time. The stock price later pulled back. If its closing price exceeds $340.43, it will break through this threshold.
Previously, Nvidia (NVDA.O) reached a record market capitalization of $5.7 trillion at the close on May 14, but has since lost approximately $1 trillion in market value. Apple (AAPL.O) is currently the largest company in the S&P 500 index by market capitalization. (Jin Shi)
