DOGE Owner Clarifies: CATE Is Unrelated to Me, Only Recognize DOG and COCORO as Official Projects

Odaily, @kabosumama, the owner of Kabosu, the dog that inspired the Doge meme, stated that the recently circulated CATE token is completely unrelated to her. She said that after she posted Instagram content about her newly rescued kitten, the relevant posts were used without authorization to create a fake token, and she expressed regret over some accounts misusing her photos and content.

She indicated that the only project she is officially involved with and endorses is Own The Dog. The project obtained the Doge NFT in 2021 and launched the DOG token; additionally, both parties collaborated to launch the COCORO token on the Base network in 2025, with related proceeds to be used to support daily animal care and animal protection activities.

Kabosu's owner reminded that information about her should be based on official announcements and urged the community to remain vigilant against projects and tokens unrelated to her.
