Odaily reported that South Korean trading company POSCO International has partnered with LG CNS to launch a pilot project, deploying real-time trade accounts receivable onto the Injective blockchain to accelerate payment processes among its global subsidiaries.
The two parties place accounts receivable on a shared blockchain ledger, creating a single, transferable record embedded with compliance rules, thereby reducing reconciliation time between buyers, sellers, and banks.
POSCO plans to advance this project into a production environment following the pilot. The project involves blockchain application scenarios such as trade finance, stablecoin-based fund transfers, and asset tokenization.
