ZachXBT calls on Telegram users to support channel upgrade: seeks to disable ads due to frequent scam advertisements

Odaily reported that "on-chain detective" ZachXBT posted on his personal channel, stating that Telegram continues to allow scam advertisements to be displayed to subscribers in his channel, affecting the user experience and posing potential security risks.

ZachXBT stated that if users are Telegram Premium members and wish to support the upgrade of his channel, they can use the channel's Boost feature to help it meet the level requirements, thereby unlocking the option to disable ads. Currently, the channel needs to reach Level 50 to enable the ad-disabling option.

ZachXBT has long focused on crypto industry scams, hacking attacks, and on-chain fund tracking, and has repeatedly exposed incidents involving phishing attacks, fake projects, and fund theft.

This time, he questioned Telegram's advertising mechanism, arguing that the platform allowing scam ads to appear in crypto community channels may increase users' risk of encountering malicious links and fraudulent activities.
