DeAgentAI completes $5 million AIA buyback plan, second batch burned

Odaily Odaily Planet Daily News DeAgentAI, a decentralized AI infrastructure project on the SUI and BNB ecosystems, announced that the total buyback plan of 5 million US dollars worth of AIA tokens has been executed. It was disclosed that the first batch of 1 million AIA burns was executed earlier. This second batch of 10 million AIA burns has been completed, bringing the total burned to 11 million AIA, accounting for 23.1% of the total repurchased amount. All burned tokens have been sent to a dead wallet address for permanent removal from circulation.

Furthermore, DeAgentAI announced the official launch of a quarterly burning mechanism. The AIA burn plan will be executed quarterly from now on, making the deflationary mechanism a normal operation. The funds for the buyback come from the project's protocol revenue and profits from its proprietary AI trading model, and are unrelated to external financing or new token issuances.
