Vanar migrates to Base, VANRY total supply to increase from 2.4 billion to 10 billion

Odaily AI infrastructure project Vanar announced it will migrate to the Base network, shifting the VANRY token's positioning from supporting blockchain infrastructure to coordinating and incentivizing the AI Organizations ecosystem.

Vanar stated that it is building an AI Organization economic system, enabling functions such as product development, service delivery, order processing, USDC settlement, and reputation recording through organization-level AI agents. The team believes that the core bottleneck for future AI development will shift from model capabilities to identity, trust, memory, and organizational structure.

Regarding token migration, existing VANRY holders will migrate at a 1:1 ratio, with their holdings remaining unchanged. However, the total supply will increase from 2.4 billion to 10 billion tokens to support AI Organizations ecosystem incentives, developers, partners, and infrastructure development.

The official statement indicated that 62% of the total supply will remain locked initially after migration. Newly allocated tokens will adopt a lock-up and linear release mechanism over 60 months, with a complete release cycle expected to take 5 years.

Additionally, Vanar will terminate the validator node staking mechanism on Vanarchain and integrate its infrastructure into the Base network. The team plans to launch the Vanar Genesis event on August 3, during which the first batch of AI Organizations will go live, and a reward pool of 100 million VANRY tokens will be established to incentivize high-performing ecosystem projects.
