Foreign Media: Intel and AMD Plan to Sign Long-Term CPU Supply Agreements with Major Chinese Server Customers

Odaily reported that as server processor prices continue to rise, Intel and AMD are signing longer-term data center CPU procurement agreements with Chinese server customers. These agreements typically lock in purchase volumes but not prices, with most supply cycles lasting about one year. Some customers are discussing procurement commitments of two years or longer.

The report states that server CPU prices in China are still rising, with some products seeing monthly increases of over 10%, accumulating to a total increase of more than 40% since the beginning of this year. (Reuters)
