Tom Lee: AI Downstream Asset Performance Continues to Strengthen, Ethereum Outperforms DRAM by 72 Percentage Points in the Past Month
Odaily reported that Bitmine Chairman and Fundstrat Co-Founder Tom Lee stated that the relative performance of "AI downstream" related assets is continuing to strengthen, with Ethereum (ETH) recently showing significant excess returns compared to the DRAM (Dynamic Random Access Memory) sector.
Data disclosed by Tom Lee shows that over the past month, ETH's performance advantage over DRAM has expanded to 7,200 basis points (72 percentage points). During the same period, the price of ETH rose by approximately 24%, while DRAM-related ETFs fell by about 38%.
Tom Lee believes that as AI infrastructure investment gradually shifts from chips and computing power supply chains to the application layer and digital infrastructure, some "AI downstream" assets are undergoing market repricing.
As a market participant who has long been bullish on the Ethereum ecosystem, Tom Lee has repeatedly emphasized that with the development of stablecoins, tokenized assets, and on-chain financial applications, Ethereum could become an important part of the digital economy infrastructure in the AI era. This data comparison shows that the performance divergence between crypto assets and traditional AI hardware supply chains is widening.
