Unrealized profit nearing $160,000, a whale re-entered long positions on Intel before its earnings report

Odaily Planet Daily News: According to monitoring by Hyperinsight, "King of U.S. Stock Trading" reopened long positions in INTC on the evening of July 17 Beijing time (last Friday), buying 25,000 contracts in batches over approximately half an hour. He is currently holding the position with 10x leverage, with an average entry price of $94.57.

As of press time, INTC is up 5.95% on the day, temporarily trading at $100.96. The whale's position is valued at approximately $2.524 million, with an unrealized profit of around $159,700, a return rate of 67.56%, and a liquidation price of $89.69.

During the previous market downturn, "King of U.S. Stock Trading" scaled down his large position to Micron Technology (MU). On the evening of July 8, he closed out the previous round of 23,000 INTC long positions at an average price of $105.31, realizing a profit of around $920,300. After re-entering the market 9 days later, his current position size is 2,000 contracts larger than the previous round.

Currently, the whale continues to hold MU long positions valued at approximately $3.3782 million, with an average entry price of $505.30 and an unrealized profit of about $1.4833 million. Additionally, he has initiated small bullish positions in two storage stocks: 250 contracts of SanDisk (SNDK), valued at approximately $367,500, with an average price of $1,438.72 and an unrealized profit of about $7,821; and 240 contracts of SK Hynix (SKHX), valued at approximately $300,600, with an average price of $1,412.39 and an unrealized loss of around $38,400.

Intel is set to release its Q2 2026 earnings report after the U.S. market close on July 23 (early morning of July 24 Beijing time). The company previously guided quarterly revenue of $13.8 billion to $14.8 billion and non-GAAP earnings per share of $0.20.
