South Korea’s per capita GDP is expected to reach $39,000 this year

According to a report from Yonhap News Agency, driven by increased exports during the semiconductor boom, South Korea’s per capita GDP is expected to rise significantly this year. Based on data released on the 19th by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Bank of Korea, and the National Statistical Office, South Korea's per capita GDP is projected to reach $39,164 this year, an increase of $2,750 year-on-year, representing a growth rate of 7.6%.
