SK Hynix surges and plunges sharply; the latest whale chasing the rally is only $60 from liquidation
According to monitoring by Hyperinsight, SK Hynix (SKHX) experienced a sharp surge and plunge on Hyperliquid this morning after opening. It opened at $1168.1 and surged to a high of $1270.1 within half an hour, gaining approximately 8.7%. However, it quickly retreated, hitting a low of $1185.3 at 9:55 AM, a drop of about 6.7% from the peak.
During this volatile period, three whales established long positions in SKHX one after another, holding a total of 11,620.674 contracts, with a position value of approximately $14.036 million. Based on the current SK Hynix price of around $1198, all three long positions are currently underwater:
- Whale starting with 0xf4b: New long position opened with 10x cross-margin, position value of approximately $2.715 million, average price of $1210.659, unrealized loss of about $9,000, liquidation price of $1130.40;
- Whale starting with 0x564: New long position opened with 10x leverage, position of approximately $4.918 million, average price of $1238.912, unrealized loss of about $125,000, liquidation price of $851.59;
- Whale starting with 0x2ab: Closed short positions and turned long, continuously adding to positions, with 10x leverage, position of approximately $6.403 million, average opening price of $1212.854, unrealized loss of about $25,000, liquidation price of $650.33.
Among them, the 0xf4b whale is closest to liquidation. When SKHX dropped to $1185.3 during trading, the difference was only about $54.9. As the price recovered to $1298, the current distance has widened to approximately $68.
