The crypto sector continues to correct, while the Meme sector remains relatively resilient
Odaily reported on July 20 that, according to SoSoValue data, the crypto market continues to correct, with the Meme sector remaining relatively resilient, rising 0.56% in 24 hours. Within this, Pepe (PEPE) rose 4.38%, BUILDon (B) rose 31.65%, and Pump.fun (PUMP) rose 22.76%. Meanwhile, Bitcoin (BTC) fell 0.25%, recovering to above $64,000; Ethereum (ETH) rose 0.52%, trading in a narrow range around $1,800.
In other sectors, the Layer 2 sector fell 0.11% in 24 hours, with Mantle (MNT) holding relatively firm, rising 1.55%; the Layer 1 sector fell 0.14%, but Canton Network (CC) rose 3.15%; the PayFi sector fell 0.31%, with Telcoin (TEL) surging 5.05% intraday; the CeFi sector fell 0.41%, with Cronos (CRO) dropping 2.30%; and the DeFi sector fell 0.60%, with Jupiter (JUP) bucking the trend to rise 1.73%.
The crypto sector index, which reflects historical sector performance, shows that the ssiMeme, ssiNFT, and ssiLayer1 indices rose 1.27%, 0.65%, and 0.45%, respectively.
