Odaily Planet Daily News: According to monitoring by Matt Corva, a security incident occurred at MetaMask where a North Korean hacker named Tyler Knapp infiltrated the team. The hacker entered MetaMask as an outsourced employee through a long-term partner human resources supplier, bypassing the background checks involved in direct company hiring. During his one month at the company, he participated in the development of the wallet's fiat currency on/off ramp functionality. He was detected by the company's security monitoring system due to abnormal IP addresses and behavior. The company subsequently revoked all his permissions and suspended the release of all products he had worked on. So far, no substantial data or financial losses have been caused.
