Odaily Planet Daily reported that according to Coinglass data, the Coinbase Bitcoin Premium Index has been in negative territory for 60 consecutive days (from May 19 to date), with the latest reading at -0.0908%. Previously, the index recorded a 40-day consecutive negative premium from January 16 to February 24 this year, setting a record for the longest "consecutive negative" period since the indicator's launch, surpassing the approximately 30-day consecutive negative premium during the "1011 crash" period. Historical data suggests that prolonged negative premiums are often accompanied by U.S. institutional capital outflows, and caution should be exercised regarding short-term pullback pressure.
