Bitget adds 22 US stock tokens (rToken) supporting weekend trading
Odaily news According to the official announcement, Bitget has added 22 US stock tokens (rToken) supporting weekend trading, including rMRNA (Moderna), rAMAT (Applied Materials), rORCL (Oracle) and other assets. After this update, the number of stock tokens available for weekend trading on the platform has increased to 61.
During US stock market holidays, the platform will generate continuous weekend trading prices based on Friday's closing prices, market maker quotes, and market expectations. This feature supports limit orders and stop-loss/take-profit settings. To prevent abnormal fluctuations, the system has a protection limit of approximately ±20% for weekend limit orders.
It is reported that rTokens, identified by the letter r + stock ticker (e.g., rNVDA for Nvidia), are issued by Reality, a licensed RWA protocol under Bitget. Through cooperation with compliant broker Alpaca, they directly connect to global liquidity pools such as Nasdaq and NYSE. Features include: 1:1 reserve backing of underlying assets, custody by licensed custodians, 1:1 distribution of stock dividends in token form, synchronized mapping of corporate actions such as stock splits and reverse splits, and the ability to serve as joint collateral for unified accounts and USDT-margined futures contracts, allowing users to flexibly manage their funds while holding global stock assets.
