Polygon Labs收购Coinme进入收尾阶段，同步启动裁员

Odaily Planet Daily News: Polygon Labs CEO Marc Boiron stated that the company's acquisition of compliant payment service provider Coinme has entered its final stage. Upon completion of the transaction, the Coinme team will be fully integrated into Polygon Labs. This merger integration is part of the company's overall restructuring plan, with the core goal of driving the enterprise to achieve profitability by 2027.

Alongside the business integration, Polygon Labs has initiated staff reductions today. Marc Boiron explained that the company is transitioning from a blockchain foundation to a blockchain payment enterprise. The organizational structure and talent composition required for these two types of businesses differ significantly. This personnel adjustment stems from strategic transformation needs and is not related to employee performance issues.

Officials also revealed that the company's current revenue trend is positive, with stablecoin trading volumes continuously hitting new records and the deployment of on-chain payment products accelerating. The company will provide severance compensation and supporting assistance for affected employees.
