OpenAI Launches $230 Codex Micro Keyboard, Designed for AI Coding Assistant Codex

Odaily Odaily Planet Daily reports that OpenAI has launched the $230 Codex Micro Keyboard, designed for its AI coding assistant, Codex. Developed in collaboration with keyboard designer Work Louder, the keyboard features illuminated keys to display agent status, shortcut command keys for common Codex operations, a joystick for initiating workflows, and a dial to adjust the agent's "reasoning" level. Serving as a "command center" for agent work, the device can be controlled and customized via the ChatGPT desktop application.

Apple sued OpenAI last week, accusing its senior leadership of deliberately extracting Apple's confidential information for use in developing their own hardware devices. OpenAI has denied any wrongdoing. (TechCrunch)
