SEC Approves Increase in BlackRock Bitcoin Spot ETF Option Position and Exercise Limits to 1 Million Contracts

Odaily reported that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission announced a rule change submitted by the New York Stock Exchange on July 6 has taken immediate effect, increasing the position and exercise limits for options on BlackRock's Bitcoin spot ETF IBIT from 250,000 to 1 million contracts. This aims to meet the growing trading volume of IBIT options and enhance market liquidity as well as market makers' trading capabilities.
