Odaily Planet Daily News: Greeks.live macro researcher Adam posted on X platform, stating that Deribit's trading volume share has dropped to 40%, down from approximately 60% a year ago and roughly 80% three years ago. However, its open interest share still leads at 75%. This is primarily caused by differences in trading structure. Deribit has better liquidity for medium-to-long-term options, with a clear advantage in depth, while the trading frequency for medium-to-long-term options is lower. For short-term options, as long as the price is appropriate, there are fewer issues to handle, it is closer to the futures market, and it also requires more marketing stimulation.
