ASML's Q2 results across the board exceed expectations, with AI chip demand as the main driving force

Odaily reported that ASML (ASML.O), the world's largest supplier of computer chip manufacturing equipment, reported second-quarter revenue and profit that both exceeded market expectations on Wednesday, as demand from artificial intelligence chip makers offset uncertainties regarding sales to China. According to LSEG's consensus estimates, in the three months ending June 30, ASML's revenue was 9.33 billion euros (approximately 10.9 billion US dollars), higher than the analyst forecast of 8.80 billion euros.
