Odaily Planet Daily News: In a joint statement issued by the Transatlantic Financial Markets Working Group, the U.S. and U.K. governments stated that they plan to explore the application of stablecoins in cross-border finance to modernize financial infrastructure. The two governments indicated that regulated stablecoins have the potential to enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of the financial system, upgrade financial market infrastructure, and improve the efficiency of cross-border payments and transactions.
