微软市值蒸发5700亿美元,恐创2000年以来最差单月表现
Odaily Planet Daily News As investors remain concerned about Microsoft's (MSFT.O) prospects in the age of artificial intelligence, the software giant's stock is heading for its worst month since the dot-com era. The stock has fallen 17% in June, on track for its worst monthly performance since December 2000. The sell-off has wiped out more than $570 billion from the company's market capitalization. Before rebounding on Friday, the stock had fallen to its lowest closing price since 2023 on Thursday.
Jack Ablin, chief investment strategist at Cresset Wealth Advisors, which holds the stock, said: "Microsoft is facing dual pressures, worrying about both spending on artificial intelligence (AI) and the disruptive impact of AI. While it might seem like a good investment from a valuation standpoint, my feeling is that investors are currently adopting a 'sell first, ask questions later' approach." (Jinshi)
