Apple Vision Pro executive Paul Meade to leave, join OpenAI hardware division

Odaily Planet Daily News: Paul Meade, the Apple executive responsible for the Vision Pro and smart glasses projects, is leaving the company to join OpenAI's hardware division. Paul Meade joined Apple in 2010, initially working on the iPhone and iPad teams, and moved to the visual products team in 2017, where he served as the head of the Vision Pro hardware engineering team. Recently, Paul Meade has been primarily driving the AI smart glasses project and leading the AR glasses development team. He will leave Apple next week and join OpenAI's hardware division to participate in the research and development of AI devices. (Bloomberg)
