Odaily Planet Daily News, June 27th. Two well-known Chinese hedge fund managers have warned that global AI stocks have formed a super bubble and are on the verge of bursting.

Yang Dong, founder of Ningquan Asset, stated in the "2026 Semi-Annual Investment Report" released on June 23rd that global AI stocks have formed a super bubble, and the point of collapse may not be far off. Yang Dong said that the prices of many popular A-share stocks are highly likely to fall by 80% or even over 90% in the future.

Li Bei, founder of Shanghai Banxia Investment, stated in the "Letter to Banxia Investors" monthly report released on June 21st that the triggering conditions for the burst of the AI bubble have already appeared. She pointed out, using Anthropic's annualized ARR revenue run rate as an example, that revenue growth for the downstream model companies has slowed significantly, and is highly likely to fall significantly below market expectations by the end of the year. Subsequently, a decline in future capital expenditure expectations is highly probable.
