Blockworks Co-founder: Dual Equity-Token Structure Unfeasible, Issuers Must Choose Between Equity and Tokens

Odaily Blockworks co-founder Mippo posted on X platform, stating that they no longer believe the dual equity-token structure is viable. Mippo pointed out that this structure has very few successful cases and those are decreasing, with the basic judgment being that such structures will continue to exist, but investors will demand increasingly higher discounts due to uncertainty. Mippo noted, why would investors choose a product that could be "rugged" at any time due to countless edge cases, offering no legal protection.

Mippo believes that issuers currently face a choice: either make an immediate decision, choosing between equity and tokens, or gradually see value erode.
